Salted Caramel Ice Cream with Chunks of Caramel Bar

This caramelly new Fairtrade flavour magically descended down to us Earthlings from its cosmic existence to become the newest and chunkiest mayor of Caramelville. Yes, it’s a place; just a few miles from Chocolatetown and across the river from Spoonburg. Oh, and did we mention Fairtrade? Well, we work with the fine folks at Fairtrade across all of our flavours, including this one, to help make sure farmers and workers in the global south are getting a fair deal. Because fairtrade really is the fairest way. And also caramel is the gooeyest way.

Vanilla ice cream with chunks of chocolate chip cookie dough and chocolatey chunks

In 1986, following a tip from a fan, we pondered putting cookie dough in our ice cream – a radical idea back then, and a tricky flavour to make; our machines couldn’t handle those big chunks of dough. We had to hand-cut the chunks & throw them into the vanilla ice cream! Five years later, applying a few secret techniques, we found chunk feeder perfection. Twenty years on, we made this fan-favourite Fairtrade too! Happy days…
