Birds Eye Chicken Tikka Masala & Rice

Pieces of cooked chicken breast, onions and tomatoes in a spicy tikka masala sauce made with yoghurt, cream and traditional herbs and spices. Served with long grain rice.
We know a thing or two about Curries: we’ve been making them for over 30 years. For our aromatic Chicken Tikka Masala, we only use chicken breast slices, prepared in a blend of traditional herbs and spices.

Preparation
Cooking Instructions – General
Tastiest when microwaved straight from the freezer.
Please ensure food is cooked until piping hot.
The above instructions are guidelines only.
Do not refreeze after defrosting.
Oven cook – From Frozen
190ºC/Fan 170ºC/Gas Mark 5 30 mins.
Pre-heat the oven.
Pierce the film lid over the rice and the sauce.
Place in the middle of the oven on a baking tray.
Microwave – From Frozen
1. Pierce the film lid over the rice and the sauce.
2. Microwave on Full Power for:
650W/B 8 mins, 750W/D 7 mins, 850W/E 6 mins.
3. Peel back the film lid, stir the rice then the sauce, replace the film.
4. Microwave on Full Power for:
650W/B 2 mins, 750W/D 2 mins, 850W/E 2 mins.
5. Stand for 2 minutes. Stir, then serve.
Take care when peeling back the film lid, as the product will be hot.
