The following cooking instructions are for 500g of McCain Chippy Chips. For smaller quantities reduce the cooking time accordingly. For best results cook from frozen. DO NOT overcook!

DEEP FRY

Heat the oil in the pan or fryer to around 175°C / 350°F. Place your McCain Chippy Chips into the basket and let them sizzle away for 4 – 5 minutes, until they’re lovely, crisp and light golden. Lift the basket, shake off the oil and they’re ready to eat.

SHALLOW FRY

Fry your Chippy Chips in a small amount of hot oil. Fry for 7 – 8 minutes, turning them every now and again, until they’re lovely, crisp and light golden. Shake off the oil and they’re ready to eat.

CAUTION: DO NOT LEAVE UNATTENDED WHEN FRYING.
